F-LINE DIN 2353 hydraulic tube fittings connect metric rigid tube using a 24° cone, a cutting ring and a union nut. Explore the range with Fluidline in Midrand for hydraulic projects across South Africa and the wider African market.
Connect, branch, reduce or route metric hydraulic tube with F-LINE unions, elbows, tees, crosses and bulkhead fittings. Specify the tube outside diameter and LL, L or S series at every connection.
Connect a DIN 2353 tube end to an equipment port with F-LINE male and female connectors. Choose the port thread and sealing form independently of the tube-end union thread.
Use F-LINE standpipe and swivel configurations to position elbows, tees and transitions during installation. Select the connection type and orientation before confirming the assembled fitting.
Specify F-LINE weld connectors, nipples, reducers and weld bulkhead connections for hydraulic tube assemblies that require a welded transition. Match the weld end to tube material and wall thickness.
Connect pressure instruments and diagnostic test points to hydraulic tube circuits. F-LINE gauge connectors, swivel gauge adaptors and test couplings cover different instrument and tube interfaces.
Adapt hydraulic connections or close unused ports with F-LINE adaptors, blanking plugs, port plugs and tube caps. Match the thread, sealing face and intended closure point.
Select matched F-LINE tube nuts, cutting rings and replacement seals for the supplied fitting system. Identify the original assembly and seal dimensions before ordering individual components.
A DIN 2353 fitting is a metric cutting-ring connection used with rigid hydraulic tube. The body, nut and cutting ring work together to grip the prepared tube and seal at the 24° connection. ISO 8434-1 is the related standard for 24° cone connectors.
Selection starts with tube outside diameter and series. The final assembly must also match the port, material, seal, tube wall and operating conditions.
Identification aid only. Match the series, tube size and seating arrangement as well as the thread.

FROM COMPONENT TO CONNECTION
Make every connection count.
From a replacement fitting to a new hydraulic tube run, start with the right dimensions and service conditions. Fluidline’s Midrand team supports enquiries across South Africa and the wider African market.
Send your tube size, fitting series, connection details and operating conditions so the complete assembly can be assessed for your application.
Identify a DIN 2353 connection by tube outside diameter, fitting series, thread and sealing form. A matching thread alone does not establish a correct connection.
Select the fitting, tube and seals as one assembly. Pressure capability depends on the exact configuration, material, tube dimensions, temperature and installation method.
Successful cutting-ring connections depend on suitable tubing, matched components, careful preparation and the correct assembly procedure for the supplied fitting system.
Questions answered
What is the difference between L and S series DIN 2353 fittings?
L and S are different dimensional series. The same tube outside diameter can use a different union thread and body geometry. Pressure suitability must be confirmed for the exact fitting, material, tube and temperature.
Do all DIN 2353 fittings have a 630 bar rating?
No. Pressure ratings vary with size, series, material, sealing system and configuration. Select using the permissible rating of the complete supplied assembly at the operating temperature.
Can I get stainless steel DIN 2353 fittings?
Include 316L or 316Ti stainless steel in your F-LINE enquiry. Fluidline will confirm the supplied material, size combination and documentation with the quotation.
Can DIN 2353 and twin-ferrule fittings be mixed?
They are different fitting systems. Do not mix bodies, nuts or rings on appearance or thread fit alone. Use an approved transition and matched components.
