DIN 2353 straight unions
Connect two equal-size hydraulic tubes in a straight line. A DIN 2353 straight union has a 24° tube connection at each end, with the tube outside diameter and series specified for both connections.

Choose the right straight unions
Use a straight union to join a tube run where both ends have the same tube size and series. For different tube sizes, select a reducing union instead. Allow room around both nuts for the prescribed assembly and inspection procedure.
