DIN 2353 equal union tees

An equal tee branches a tube circuit into three equal-size connections. If the run and branch require different sizes, select a reducing tee. Mark the run and branch on your sketch and allow assembly access at all three nuts.

An equal tee has matching tube connections at all three ends. A reducing tee has at least one different-size connection. State the run and branch sizes explicitly.
